Higher Ed-Focused Social Media Specialist

OverviewThese are challenging times for colleges and universities. Each year, institutions are expected to do more with less, competition for students grows increasingly intense, and disruptive innovation in online learning is creating new challenges as well as new opportunities for faculty and students. Our company works with multiple universities to manage, deliver and market degree and certificate programs. In this role, you will work closely with the existing Marketing team to manage and run successful social media campaigns to market several different university programs. You will be responsible for creatively managing our social media campaigns across a variety of mediums, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc. In addition to managing a large social media budget, you will also be tasked with recommending new marketing strategies, obtaining campaign feedback, lookalike marketing, managing campaign effectiveness, and more. The ideal person will be have experience managing social media programs in Higher Education. You'll have a creative mindset and can take a strategic standpoint. Your responsibilities include: Experience managing budgets and ROI Lookalike marketing Strategic management responsibilities for social marketing experiences Strong experience managing PPC campaigns that generate a return through FB/Instagram and LI Other details: This is a remote project that will require about 20 hours of work per week. We will set milestones and set objectives prior to starting the project.
