Instructional Designer for Safety Training

OverviewOur non-profit organization is looking for Instructional Designers to support a variety of initiatives to support creating safety training products. Examples of our training products: - Roadway safety for drivers - The importance of being drug & alcohol free while operating heavy machinery - Driving fleet vehicles on behalf of a company - Mental health training While we prefer someone who has experience specifically in creating safety related training, we do have a team of subject matter experts available to help create content. Your role will primarily be the design component. Traditionally, our training is all conducted in ILT but we are looking towards different interactive training modalities, including vILT, eLearning, gamification, etc. Eventually, we'd also like to explore VR/AR/AI applications. We need instructional designers to assist our team in engaging new techniques and the technologies in our products.
DeliverablesEach product that we develop will vary in terms of development time. Some courses might take 3-4 weeks to develop while others may take 4-5 months. Ideally, interested freelancers will have at least 30 hours per week available for a new project.
Key stakeholdersWe have an existing team of Instructional Designers, Research and Development professionals, and Project Managers.
Time commitmentWe have several training initiatives planned and are looking for freelancers who are available for 30 - 40 hours per week.
